Quarterly Hygiene Monitoring Program conducted throughout FY22/23

  • Data is being collated to establish baseline levels for exposure against Respirable Coal Dust (RCD), Respirable Crystalline Silica (RCS) and Noise guidelines
  • No exceedances recorded

RSHQ directive for site to conduct ‘face fit testing’ for Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE)

  • HST Team completed training to enable testing on site 
  • Face Fit Testing incorporated into site induction process
  • Face Fit Testing Register audited by RSHQ Mine Inspectorate; assessed as exceeding requirements

RSHQ requires all Queensland Open Cut Examiners (OCEs) to hold RIIENV301E Conduct Atmospheric Monitoring

  • All site OCEs completed required training

Advanced First Aid Training for First Aiders on C and D crew

Trainer and Assessor: TAESS00015 Enterprise Trainer and Assessor Skill Set

  • Designed for Trainers and Assessors who deliver non-accredited training or work with other trainers in delivering nationally recognised training

Emergency Services Officers (ESOs) completed Supervisor S123 and G2 Training

  • ERT Training Program implemented for both Day and Night Shifts 
  • ESOs facilitate training with assigned crews; 4 hour sessions – 1 x Day Shift and 1 x Night Shift
