Ben Wood

Principal Mining Engineer

Mr Wood is a seasoned engineering professional with over 12 years’ experience across large scale mining operations across QLD and WA. Mr Wood’s expertise spans the entire spectrum of open cut mining operations, from feasibility studies through to execution. Ben has held positions working on strategic long-term planning, medium term mine design and scheduling, short term project execution and drill and blast engineering.

In addition, he has hands-on involvement in progressive rehabilitation, closure planning, and the management of final landforms.

Complementing his practical experience, Mr. Wood is a holder of a Bachelor of Engineering degree, Majoring in Mining, from the University of Queensland.
